for Our West End related organizations.

1)  The Bridgeview Community Outreach Group's
      Yard Sale
SATURDAY & SUNDAY JULY 26TH & 27TH 
9AM-5PM AT 
ST. MARK'S ANGLICAN CHURCH
1636 Tecumseh Rd W. near Campbell Ave 
All Proceeds to the Bridgeview Community Outreach Program Inc.
The program is a neighbourhood organization engaging youth to provide fun, friendship, and guidance to kids in the Bridgeview area.  The link on Facebook:

2) West End Crawlers and Bloomfield House are hosting a fundraising Pub Crawl/Food Drive
to benefit Bloomfield House:

Saturday, July 26th
at around 7:00pm 
we're coming together to crawl for a cause,
we're raising $$$$ and collecting food for
The Bloomfield House and we need you to come out and help us do it because
The Bloomfield House is in desperate need of a roof!

We'll meet at Hurricanes in Sandwich Town, and thus, the crawl will begin :)

Our goal is to get 25 - 30 ppl to join the crawl so tell a friend and keep in touch for details.

October 4th Council Meeting

Hi friends,  I wanted to provide a brief synopsis of today's Council meeting as there are some items of interest to residents in the west-end.  First, I am happy to report that Council unanimously supported my committee motion not to remove the streetlights at Brock and Sandwich and at Campbell and Grove. There was an administrative report recommending the removal of streetlights at these intersections, among others, and Council supported my motion to keep them there considering there are two grade schools close by at each location.  Second, we were supposed to discuss and debate the Legacy Beacon project and the Festival Plaza Canopy project today. Councillor Gignac put forward a motion to defer these items until administration reported back on a comprehensive report looking at these two projects together with the Civic Esplanade project that is set to come forward at some point in the future.
