Friends of the Court Newsletter

Friends,

Please see the Friends of the Court Newsletter below. If you would like to see the attachments referred to, please email me and I will send them along. I unfortunately cannot attach PDF files to the blog.

"Dear Friends of the Court,
Attached is the February edition of Mackenzie Matters which is filled with good news about Mackenzie Hall.

We are proud sponsors of several upcoming events :

Feb. 14-23, 2014
The Artists of Colour  present their 7th annual art exhibition, The Stories We Tell, Chapter Two.

March 2, 2014
Julia Saurazas will present a slide show and talk based on her year working in Bhutan.

April 27, 2014
Hugh Leal and the Speak Easy Quartet will honour George Benson on his 85th birthday.

Further details about these events are in the newsletter.

Thank you for contributing to our fund raising campaigns. We have been able to complete the costly upgrades to our Yamaha Concert Grand and reburbish the Oudot-Robinet French armoire. Local artisan Kim Gene made such discreet repairs to the armoire that it is hard to tell where he performed his magic. To see further work he has done in our community his website is www.kabukiartglass.com

Although we are trying to save on postage by emailing, you may receive a copy of our newsletter in the mail. If so, would you share it with a friend or leave it so the public will know the work that has been done by The Friends of the Court for over thirty years.

Please feel free to contact us with comments or suggestions.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Hall."
