South Tilston Park Status

Friends,

As you may already know, South Tilston park is up for disposition.  A meeting was recently scheduled with City Administration and there will be another one that will follow shortly.  I will keep you posted on that.

As someone who grew up in the Bridgeview area, I know personally how important these parks are not just for young folks, but for seniors and families.

Please stay in touch as I will provide more information regarding next steps.

Huron Church Road Closure

Friends, please know that I've been dedicating every hour of every day communicating and relaying the concerns of residents and businesses to the Police, the Mayor's office, and the leadership team at City Hall regarding the ongoing national security situation along Huron Church Rd. Three very recent updates that I'd like to share are the following:  Residents in Sandwich Town taking the Central 3 will be offered free bus passes during this temporary closure; The intersection at Industrial and Northwood has been opened for east/west traffic; and Emergency Services (Fire and Ambulance) will not be delayed or affected by this closure. Police have stated and posted publicly that response times will remain the same.
